with Chloe she started trying to take her diaper off when she'd follow me to the bathroom...she was like 15 mths old I think....but I just started setting her on the potty when i went...she took to it very quickly and was completely day and night trained by 18 mths....she was ready.
with David...bwhahahahahh. he would start taking off his diaper too...but would not sit...wouldn't stand near the potty...he just liked to be nekkid. I swore that child was going to college in pullups. he finally pt'd about a wk after his 4th bday....b/c he just wasn't ready....
You know your child better than anyone...look for clues....like Chloe would IMMEDIATELY want to be changed (bring me a diaper) after she went...that was the biggest clue that she might be ready...and she would tell me that she went...
David...eh...no signs there at all...when he was 2 I started intro'ing it to him....to no avail...but if ever he showed interest, we did it...it took him a long time to do it....he could DO it...but he just didn't want to....

Jaden has started the whole bring you a diaper when he's wet and he'll sometimes tell you when he's poopy. So maybe I should get me a seat for the toilet.

Girls are so smart than boys! ;-)
My niece (almost 3) is potty trained.
My sons (almost 3 and 20 months old) are still in diaper. Been trying to get them potty training... Boys are hard head!
